- Supports Thread/Zigbee: The heating thermostat supports the Thread and Zigbee protocol. In Thread mode, the thermostat can be directly integrated into Matter-enabled ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, or Home Assistant (provided that a Matter controller and a Thread border router are present in the respective ecosystem). In Zigbee mode, exclusive Aqara automations unfold once the thermostat is connected to an Aqara hub – and it becomes Matter-compatible via this hub. For this mode, the separate Aqara Zigbee 3.0 USB hub is required.
- Energy-saving management: If the Aqara door and window sensor detects an opening or the Aqara motion sensor detects no movement for a long period of time, Aqara Smart Radiator Thermostat W600 switches off the heater automatically. With geofencing activated, it can preheat your home before your arrival. You can even configure independent automation rules for multiple homes.
- Precise temperature control: The Smart Home heating thermostat W600 can receive temperature data directly from an Aqara temperature and humidity sensor (e.g. For example, the Aqara W100 can receive signals and can be placed anywhere in the room (requires the use of Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app). This allows the thermostat to react to the actual ambient temperature and not just to the local heat near the radiator, achieving precise temperature control throughout the room. With an adjustment accuracy of 0.5°C and temperature calibration, it allows finely tuned control for a customized comfort experience.
- Smart schedules: Design your heating plan flexibly with up to seven time windows per day, individually adjustable for each day of the week. Five preset modes are available for personalised room control. Smart schedules are stored locally on the device, ensuring consistent operation even during network disruptions. This feature requires Zigbee mode and the use of the Aqara Home app.
- Long battery life: This heating thermostat offers outstanding battery life of up to 2 years, ensuring reliable operation with minimal maintenance costs. Enjoy lasting comfort and reduce environmental impact by changing batteries less frequently. The specified running time of up to 2 years is based on typical use (approx. 8 months effective operating time per year in thread mode). Actual lifespan may vary depending on usage conditions.
- Wide compatibility: the smart thermostat is compatible with up to 90% of European radiator valves and includes 6 adapters for systems such as Danfoss RAV/RA/RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini M28 × 1.5 and Oventrop M30 × 1.5. A robust metal mounting nut ensures secure, leak-free installation. Please check the specifications of your radiator valve before purchasing.
