This dramatically reduces mistriggering and ensures highly reliable presence detection.
- [Matter over Thread & Zigbee Connectivity] The FP400 supports thread and Zigbee dual protocols for easy integration into Apple Home, Home Assistant, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings. When using a third-party thread border router, custom zones, sensitivity and absence delay can be configured directly in the Aqara Home app (without Aqara hub). Once setup, up to 8 zone presence sensors are synchronized directly to your Matter platform. (*Aqara Home App v6.4.1+ required. Availability varies by device/platform.)

With a 120° ultra-wide field of view and a magnetic base, the FP400 supports side mounting, corner mounting, and ceiling mounting. It achieves a range of up to 10 x 8 m when mounted on the side, or a zone of 5-6 m when mounted on a corner for entire room corners, or a zone of 5-6 m when mounted on a ceiling at a height of 3 m (10 ft) - for optimised, privacy-friendly coverage in versatile rooms.
