- Thread/Zigbee Protocol: The smart light switch supports Matter over Thread and Zigbee, which ensures compatibility with major third-party platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant. In Zigbee mode, users have access to the full range of Aqara Home features, including MARS technology and customization of LED indicators. Zigbee2MQTT and similar third-party USB dongles are not supported by Aqara Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.
- 2-in-1 Neutral Compatibility: Compatibility is not a problem with this smart wall switch, as it supports both neutral and no-neutral wiring, simplifying installation. However, features such as power monitoring and overload protection are only available when using neutral wiring. (Note: these features may not be available in some third-party Matte ecosystems.)
- Wireless switch mode: The switch includes 1 electric switch and 2 wireless switches, which, when combined with other Aqara products, enable complex and technically impressive automations. For the top button, you can disable the physical control of the relay so that it works like the decoupled buttons underneath for triggering scenes or automations.
- Support for 55 mm frames: The Aqara Smart Light Switch H2 EU supports all standard 55 mm x 55 mm modular switching systems. It is also compatible with third-party multi-gang frames, such as the Gira System 55 and Merten M. This widely used frame size ensures easy integration into existing infrastructures.
- Home automation: This smart switch supports remote control, schedules, voice commands, and integration with other smart devices for seamless smart home automation.
