SwitchBot RGBICWW Light Bars arrive with Matter over Wi-Fi
SwitchBot has introduced the RGBICWW Light Bars, a pair of 28 cm smart light bars for desks, monitors, TVs and shelves. Together the two bars offer 12 independently controllable colour zones, 16 million colours, 26 preset dynamic effects and six music-reactive modes driven by a built-in microphone. Dedicated warm and cool white LEDs cover 2200 to 6500 K with dimming from 1 to 100 percent and up to 800 lumens across the pair. The bars attach magnetically to metal surfaces, can stand upright or lie flat, and can also be fixed with adhesive.
The light bars support Matter over Wi-Fi natively, so they can be added directly to Apple Home and other Matter platforms, including Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant and Homey, without a SwitchBot Hub. A compatible Matter controller is required, and zone settings, music sync, dynamic effects and some advanced features are configured in the SwitchBot app. SwitchBot also offers API access, for example to show the status of an AI agent through light cues.
SwitchBot announced the light bars on 28 September 2026 and says they are already available from its official website. They are listed in SwitchBot's European online store.
