SwitchBot has launched Permanent Outdoor Lights, an outdoor lighting system meant to stay mounted on a house all year. The kit contains six 5 m light strings, three extension cables, a controller and a power adapter, and the strings cannot be cut to length. Each light combines individually controlled RGB LEDs with separate warm and cool white LEDs, offering colour temperatures from 2700 K to 6500 K, dimming from 1 to 100 percent, preset scenes and a music mode that uses a built-in microphone.

The lights are Matter-compatible, so they can be added to Matter platforms such as Apple Home, and SwitchBot also lists Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, Siri Shortcuts and IFTTT. In the SwitchBot app they connect over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. They are rated IP67, UV resistant and specified for -20 °C to 60 °C, with a rated LED lifespan of up to 55,000 hours. They can be mounted with 3M adhesive or screws.

SwitchBot announced the lights on 20 October 2026, and they are already listed in its EU online store.
