Aqara Smart Lock U600 brings Apple Home Key and Matter to UK doors

Aqara has launched the Smart Lock U600, a slim smart lock designed to fit standard UK multipoint doors. The exterior panel measures 335 × 40.5 × 28 mm, carries an IP65 rating and is specified for temperatures from -20 °C to 55 °C. The lock can be opened with Apple Home Key from Apple Wallet on an iPhone or Apple Watch, with Samsung Wallet Digital Home Key, by fingerprint, with a PIN code or with a physical key.

For smart home control the U600 uses Matter over Thread, and Aqara lists Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant as supported platforms. According to Aqara, Apple Home Key requires an iPhone XS or later with iOS 18.6 or newer, or an Apple Watch Series 6 or later with watchOS 11.5 or newer. The lock runs on four AA batteries that Aqara rates for up to ten months, with a USB-C port for emergency power.

Aqara announced the UK launch on 14 October 2026 and says the lock is available now through Aqara UK. The U600 is built specifically for UK door configurations, and Aqara has not announced availability in other European countries.
