Aqara previews Camera G510 and Security Station M410 for Europe
Aqara has opened an EU and UK pre-launch trial for its solar-powered Camera G510 and the Security Station M410, which supports HomeKit Secure Video and a Matter camera bridge.
Aqara has shown two upcoming security products, the Camera G510 and the Security Station M410, through a pre-launch trial for forum members in the EU and UK. The G510 is a battery outdoor camera with a 10,400 mAh battery, a solar panel, an IP66 housing and 2.5K video with a 133° field of view. It detects people, pets and vehicles on the device itself, without a subscription.
The M410 is a base station for Aqara battery cameras with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and optional PoE. It records locally to a microSD card of up to 1 TB or USB-C storage of up to 4 TB, and adds a siren and a backup battery. Aqara says the M410 supports Apple Home through HomeKit Secure Video, which needs an Apple home hub and iCloud+, and a Matter camera bridge on compatible platforms.
Trial units start shipping gradually in early November. Aqara has not yet announced an official release date for either product.
